Welcome Warrior,

Welcome to our first impact report, a monthly way to share the story as it unfolds as we build momentum towards Charity Step 50 on Saturday, November 7th, 2026.  If you are receiving this, it is because you are already part of the story. You have donated or you are a Founding Member or you joined us at a previous Charity Step in your former life, or you have been lovingly voluntold to support this event and will soon be one of our Event Ambassadors (TBC). Either way, welcome back!

Big milestone, the date is confirmed and the venue is booked!

We can officially share that the date is confirmed and the venue is booked. Charity Step 50 will take place on Saturday, November 7th, 2026. We are partnering with The Warehouse Event Venue, a wonderful, exciting blank slate space that gives us the creative freedom to bring the full Charity Step experience under one roof. Art, design, music, and dance, supported by a great on site team. The contract has been signed, and we are now moving into layout planning and concept development.

Production partner confirmed, sound, light, and atmosphere

We are also thrilled to announce a production partnership with The Magen Group, one of Canada’s top full service event entertainment teams. They will be supporting sound, lighting, and the audio visual details that shape the feeling of the night. Early conversations with their team have already pushed our thinking forward, especially around warm sound, immersive lighting, and the subtle creative touches that make a space feel alive without feeling overwhelming. This is the kind of partnership that elevates the whole experience.

Featured charity partner: CAMH

We are proud to announce that CAMH is our featured charity partner for Charity Step 50. CAMH is Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and a global leader in mental health research, clinical care, and education. Mental health touches every community, and for many of us it has become even more present in our middle years as we support aging parents, navigate illness in our extended families, and show up for friends, neighbours, and colleagues who need care. We recently visited the CAMH campus in downtown Toronto on Queen Street. The space is inspiring, modern, and deeply human, with inpatient and outpatient services alongside world class research. It is a beacon for what is possible when care, science, and compassion align. We are also excited to share that CAMH will work with us in a meaningful way as we build momentum toward the event. Charity Step 50 will help kick off Mental Health Month in May, and CAMH will support the ticketing journey and fundraising process as we head into the public phase. As an added layer of partnership, we will also be working with CAMH on their newly developed fundraising platform, offering practical user feedback to their technical teams as they refine and improve the giving experience. It is a small way we can contribute value early, before the night even happens. Click here to donate

Fashion partner spotlight: River Crossing

We are excited to share that our fashion partner this year is River Crossing. We have partnered with Leah Mersky and the River Crossing brand because it aligns beautifully with the Charity Step ethos of local, unique artists and creative culture. River Crossing is a lifestyle concept store where fashion, home, and art intersect, featuring over 40 designer and slow fashion brands alongside curated homeware and artworks. For Charity Step 50, they will help showcase brands at the event and connect us with local visual artists whose work engages with mental health through art and design. We are grateful to Leah for stepping up with us, more soon on the brands involved and the Toronto talent we will be spotlighting.

Quiet phase begins, building our ambassador community

This update also marks the beginning of our quiet phase of ticket outreach and community building. Our next big focus is the Ambassador Program, a group of people who believe in the mission, love the concept, and want to help bring the night to life. Ambassadors will help us spread the word, gather momentum, and support the many moving parts that come with building a night like this properly. We will be hosting an Ambassador Evening soon, a chance to gather, share the vision, and give people a clear way to plug in. More details to come.

How support works, and why it matters early

There are two kinds of support that make this whole engine run.

First, donations to CAMH. These are the core impact dollars that flow directly to mental health care and research through our official fundraising pathway.

Second, support the Miracle Warriors NON-PROFIT and the road to the event. To do this right, there are real world costs that show up early, communications, fundraising infrastructure, volunteer coordination, ambassador gatherings, and the countless small pieces that make the big pieces possible. In plain terms, it takes resources to build the platform that ultimately helps us raise more for CAMH.

What we are building next:

Over the next stretch, here is what we are focused on:

  • Finalizing the venue layout and flow of the night with The Warehouse team

  • Early production design and creative planning with The Magen Group

  • Launching the Ambassador Program and hosting an Ambassador Evening

  • Beginning the quiet phase of ticket outreach with a small circle of early supporters

  • Aligning closely with CAMH on fundraising, storytelling, and platform readiness

A simple call to action:

If you are reading this and feeling that little spark, here are a few ways to help right now:

1) Become an Ambassador and help us build momentum and community  - click here to pitch in and join.

2) Introduce us to potential partners, sponsors, artists, designers, or performers who fit the vibe

3) Support the build phase and help fund the early engine that makes the larger impact possible

4) Share your story, if mental health has touched your life, we would love to honour that truth in how we communicate why this matters

Charity Step has always been about more than a party. It is about what happens when creativity and community are pointed at something that matters. Charity Step 50 is our return, and also our next chapter, and we are grateful you are here for the beginning of it.

More soon, and thank you for being part of this.
