Runway - Peros Show - Charity Step 2 (2002)

It's Time to Step Up...

We are the bridge generation, raised on mixtapes, grown on the internet, now holding space between raising kids and caring for parents. We've watched the world speed up, fragment, and forget how to talk things through. But on November 7th, 2026, we pause, to dance, and to support a cause that matters. Charity Step 50 brings music, art, fashion, and movement back to their original purpose: CONNECTION. This is a night to lift others, every 4/4 beat, every ticket, every detail, in support of CAMH's work with Toronto's homeless and those facing mental-health crises. You cant attend unless you give. You cant give without showing up. Because movement is medicine, and community is the cure.

See you on the dance floor.

Origin Story

The Miracle Warriors concept traces back to a kitchen table in our twenties, when we had little more than curiosity, lots of free time, and zero dependants. We were fresh from traveling, shaped by the cultures that welcomed us, and still buzzing from the music scenes and dance floors that gave us our earliest sense of community, diversity and inclusion. Those nights were never just parties, they were quiet teachers showing us how different people gather and how shared joy becomes its own kind of social glue. As life unfolded we carried those lessons into our work and friendships until one day the old kitchen question returned with new weight. Could all that creativity and community be turned outward, and could the spirit that once lifted us now lift someone else. Charity Step is our answer, a return to our roots and a chance to use the culture that raised us to raise something larger than ourselves, a reminder that what shaped us can also shape our impact.

The first Charity Step event was our experiment in aligning intention with expression. Music, Art, Design, and Dance remained at the centre. We approached the night with the care one brings to any meaningful project. We curated the experience thoughtfully, welcomed artists who saw the value of bringing their work into a philanthropic context, and invited our community to participate in an evening that celebrated creativity while directing its energy outward. What emerged was a gathering that retained the atmosphere we cherished, yet carried a new weight, one marked by generosity and shared responsibility.

What began as friends choosing to repurpose their creative energy has become a commitment to scaling impact together. Miracle Warriors is both a next chapter and a return to origins, anchored in the belief that collective joy in the arts can be a force force for good. For those who join us, the story is familiar. It is about using where we come from to shape where we can go, and about recognizing that the most meaningful work often begins with people deciding to make their time and energy matter.
